GAZETTEER INTRODUCTION

Gazetteer IRAN plus	Site name changed to "Gazetteer IRAN plus" and the area covered to that illustrated below. Primarily looking at place names and toponyms and providing their text usage in references / sources, includes archaeological sites, bridges, caravanserai, castles, cisterns, chahar taqs, routes and streams of interest but is not comprehensive. I would like to receive any corrections and/or comments on what I have published here through the contact in the above banner.	نام سایت به "فرهنگنامه ایران پلاس" تغییر یافته و منطقه تحت پوشش به آنچه در زیر نشان داده شده است، تغییر یافته است. در درجه اول به نام مکان‌ها و نام‌های جغرافیایی و ارائه کاربرد متنی آنها در منابع/منابع توجه می‌شود، که شامل مکان‌های باستان‌شناسی، پل‌ها، کاروانسراها، قلعه‌ها، آب‌انبارها، چهار طاق‌ها، مسیرها و نهرهای مورد علاقه می‌شود، اما جامع نیست. می‌خواهم هرگونه اصلاح و/یا نظری در مورد آنچه در اینجا منتشر کرده‌ام از طریق تماس در بنر بالا دریافت کنم.

The gazaetteer place names and variants include archaeological sites, bridges, caravanserai, castles, chahar taqs, stream names but not from cisterns unless they are included in the NIMA/GNS datasets.	صفحه فرهنگ جغرافیایی، نام مکان‌ها و گونه‌های مختلف آنها را فقط در قالب متن فهرست می‌کند. (برای یافتن موارد استفاده، اسکرول کنید یا از Ctrl + F استفاده کنید). نام مکان‌ها و گونه‌های مختلف آنها در فرهنگ جغرافیایی شامل مکان‌های باستانی، پل‌ها، کاروانسراها، قلعه‌ها، چهار طاق‌ها، نام نهرها می‌شود، اما نام آب‌انبارها را شامل نمی‌شود، مگر اینکه در مجموعه داده‌های NIMA/GNS گنجانده شده باشند.
	Routes List page lists routes recorded by travellers. Some are the traditional caravan routes and others are journeys made by individuals. In addition to the stage locations, are places passed by / through and noted (these have an alphabetic suffix to the stage number). Links are provided to download the kmz file containg the path, coordinates and source quotes of the route. Links are also provided to the Routes Detail that contains my working notes (but not always complete).	صفحه فهرست مسیرها، مسیرهای ثبت‌شده توسط مسافران را فهرست می‌کند. برخی از آنها مسیرهای کاروانی سنتی و برخی دیگر سفرهایی هستند که توسط افراد انجام شده‌اند. علاوه بر مکان‌های مرحله، مکان‌هایی که از آنها عبور شده/از آنها عبور شده و یادداشت شده‌اند (این مکان‌ها دارای پسوند الفبایی به شماره مرحله هستند). لینک‌هایی برای دانلود فایل kmz حاوی مسیر، مختصات و نقل قول‌های منبع مسیر ارائه شده است. همچنین لینک‌هایی به جزئیات مسیر که شامل یادداشت‌های کاری من است (اما نه همیشه کامل) ارائه شده است.
	Caravanserai primarily in Iran, Afghanistan and Iraq, with some in adjoining Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and the Levant including Turkey.	کاروانسراها عمدتاً در ایران، افغانستان و عراق و تعدادی نیز در کشورهای مجاور ترکمنستان، ازبکستان، تاجیکستان و شام از جمله ترکیه قرار دارند.
